I tried the slin protocol Gavin was testing out during my two weeks R and R to the states. I did 15iu log PWO, and 3iu of Humulin R just prior to each meal. Dear god. My diet was as follows
First Meal 0600
8 egg whites
2 pieces of toast with honey
Workout around 0730
drank gatorade powder with 25g whey iso during workout in about 20 oz of water.
PWO shake 0900
100g dextrose 25g whey
0930 50g dex 25g whey
grape juice as needed to stave off hypo(only had to sip some twice the whole two weeks)
1100 meal
about 4oz chicken breast
1/2 cup brown rice, 1/2 cup black eyed peas
with hot sauce
I repeated the above meal every 3 hours until 2000. After my meal at 2000, my final meal was at around 2200, it was 16oz whole milk and 1/4lb of cheese with some no salt saltine crackers. I didn't take insulin with this meal due to the fat content.
I also had a couple of 25g whey shakes in between meals if I felt hungry.
During this, I added 15lbs of weight. I'm sure some of that is added water from the higher amount of glycogen in my muscles, but my strength is through the roof, and I hit new rep weights on all lifts, and finally added "weight"to my dips instead of just body weight for 3 sets. The pumps were insane. I actually had to take a half hour break after deadlifting and just sit at the "bar" in Gold's and sip a shake while I waited for my lower back to depump so I could finish my back workout.
Very intense. I can't wait until I'm stateside again, and can do this for a bit longer period of time during a full AAS cycle. I'd have to switch it to workout days only, since I did it everyday this time. I figured just two weeks shouldn't affect my insulin sensitivity too much.
