Syringe filter tips...

Just last week i got 60ml of homebrew test E from a freind of mine. I was unfortunate enough to get a nasty little infection last spring so I wasnt taking any chances with this batch. So I ran the gear through a .45um Millipore filter... Fucking wow! you wouldnt believe all the shit that thing picked up. He used the gear last fall and never had any problems but im still glad i ran it through the filter. What a pain in the ass it was getting it through though. I used a combo of 20 and 10cc syringes to get it through. I believe the 10's were easier but maybe it just seemed that way. Any suggestions on making this easier in the future?...Heating the oil maybe? What size syringes does everyone use?

I use a 30cc syringe, and yes heating the oil will spead up the process slightly.

Yes, heating will allow filtering to be easier.

warm the oil it will pass thru filter easier.
