question to those who had gyno surgery...

i just got my draines taken out 4th day post surgery. my doctor has kept me in ace bandages snugly wrapped around my chest. i asked him about a compression vest and he didnt seem to know what i was talking about. my question is: should i try to get a compression vest? where to get it? how long to wear it?

i had gyno surgery last year...the stupid thing was my doctor measured me up for a vest before the surgery....then after the surgery naturally my chest was much smaller which meant the measurements were wrong....the compression is very important....instead of buying another compression vest i bought a sports skin...u know the tight fitting under garments warn to supposebly improve ur game by athletes and i got it one size too small...along with this i wore an old rash vest from back in my surfing days over the top of it...it did the job and my doctor praised my alternative thinking.
