Thinking about giving it a try...was wondering the following:

- seems the average dose is about .5mg to 1 mg per day

1) Does this need to be divided?
2) Is it correct that it works even without UV light?
3) Can/Should you tan with this product?
4) If so, does it need to be administered in a timely fashion along with UV exposure?

Thanks for the help...Doc

For some people, like myself, we simply cannot tan naturally. With our skin types its just not possible. With melanotan I CAN tan.

I dont know if this is the case for this guy though. I do see your point for the majority that are perfectly capable of tanning naturally why they would bother with this stuff. But for myself, its a blessing. I can FINALLY get a real tan. And yes it is a real tan.

[QUOTE=doctorflex;210711]Thinking about giving it a try...was wondering the following:

i wouldn't start that high ...... .2 or .3 then ramp up

2) Is it correct that it works even without UV light?

no, it doesn't work very well without UV light. But the amount of UV light is drastically reduced. You basically only need to get enough UV light to start the melanin going.

3) Can/Should you tan with this product?

yes, you should ... but only after you load up and then in very small exposures until you judge your body's reaction.

4) If so, does it need to be administered in a timely fashion along with UV exposure?

not really ....... i find UV exposure for 10 minutes, twice a week works well. But that really depends on the person. Key is to start slow in all phases to see how you react.
