I sent but received nothing. Now this bottom-feeder has elected not to receive private messages (our communication route) and will not respond to emails. Just a warning. I have been working with the Mods for a couple weeks. I also can be added to the List of getting robbed. He goes by a few mods. Fuckn-Jakd.

i hate to sound like a dick, but you guys did 2 things wrong with these posts.

#1) NEVER deal with a source that contacts you privately unless they have some legitimate ref's. Stick with the guys that have been shown to come through time and time again. Meaning, board sponsors and other well known guys.

#2) This SHOULD NOT be discussed in the open forums until the mod's give it the OK. Take it to them privately FIRST.

1st Whats a legitimate source when your dealing with online boards? NONE that is the lesson learned.

2nd This has been discussed with and reported to the Mods. Whether they approve of open complaining and flaming is another topic. And they may not approve of it.

3rd Why is it that only the Newbees are the ones getting robbed? Uh, cuz of the name. I think its an oximoron thing. People wouldn't be new if they didn't make mistakes. Safety laws wouldn't be written unless someone got hurt.

I've been ordering shit from online sources for over 5 years and have never gotten burned once. Why? Because i stuck with guys that had good reputations and have been in the business for awhile.

You're right. I got burnt form this gut because I was stupid. I even had doubts when I did it. Live and learn, but when you are a "newbie" or a veteran every transaction where we send the money first is a risk! I thought I was getting burnt by Anabloex but they made good and re-delivered. The point is this business IS RISKY PERIOD. I'll never buy from a member again directly unless I know them from the outside world.

With all the upper level busts going on I see this as the way that LE will use to get us at the end user level. There is no way of knowing if the person you are talking to is LE or not. I think this is the best reason to use people that have been in the biz for many years. But even then you are not safe because they could have gotten busted and it's now LE that is running the show.

Lessons to all...

Stick with sources that have a good rep from many many many people across different boards.

Sources do not need to hunt down customers, if anyone approaches you wanting to sell to you then something is up.

Even if a source has a good rep, double check to see how business is currently going. Ask them how things are going and double check that with the current buzz for positive or negative feedback on their business.

Never EVER use a source that PM's you or approaches you on the side.

Real sources do not need to go looking for clients one on one. That's your first sign of it being bullshit.

This is why we don't allow open source requests on the board...the original poster will be flooded with PMs from scammers. The scamming gets associated with this board and then all of a sudden you have people referring to the board as scammer central and the board and the mods being asked to explain why a source on their board is allowed to scam people.

Ignore any PMs or emails from people claiming to be sources...they are either scammers or law enforcement.
