Please forgive my ignorance, im not a scientist, but i recently had a bad flu, mid IGF cycle, the virus seemed to effect me more than most, i was just wondering could the igf have given the virus a more potential enviroment to work in hence my excessive reaction to this germ, i was hospitalised for three days with excessive dehydration caused from the vomiting and diarohea, other circumstances to consider are that most people im comparing reactions to are a lot smaller than myself and consume probably 30% of my daily caloric intake, any intelligent feedback appreciated.

Virii do not benefit directly from IGF-1. Although IGF-1 does upregulate cell division and reproduction it may have helped the virus get reproduced at a higher rate.

Grunt is correct. Igf will cause proliferation which may have caused a more speedy process but it would not have caused the actual viral process.
