Has anyone out there had as bad of an exprience with Quad/leg injections as me, everytime I try them, thinking the last time was maybe just a fluke.I end up not being able to walk for 3 days!
Im using correct injection procedures,I just think that area is too sensitive for me! :noidea:

After my last shot of prop in my glutes i had big trouble just walking.
Then i did my last shot's in the calves and the result now is that both my calves hurt like a bitch AND my ass is so sore i cant sit straight. Even Sustanon and EQ did hurt in my calves, tried them both.
Have read in another post that varming up the prop a bit before inject could help, but what is the max temp before the prop is destroyed ?
I don't prefer quads, but shooting as often as I need to, they are a must in my shot rotation.

Quads aren't my favorite, but I have had good success with hardly any pain. There is a small area that is just perfect if you can find it. I put my thumb at my hip and stretch my hand down my quad as far as possible and then if you flex your leg muscles you should be able to find a small muscle on the outer portion of your quad that is about 2" in diameter. If you can hit that spot you should never have any problems with any type of gear. Good luck and be safe.

I love Quad injects. It's a nice easy to see and manage the pin area!
Try warming up your gear to around body temp before injecting, and also go slow. Don't ram down on the plunger.
I would stick with 25G or 23G 1inch pins as well.

I can now walk normally 3 days after prop shots in the quads. EQ in the quad is smooth like butter, no pain.

Why don't you mix them then?

I did for the last 2 and it didn't make a bit of difference. Seemed to be worse actually as it was from the back of my ass to the top of my kneecap. Range of motion on my leg was like 4". I couldn't even lift my leg to get it over the tub to shower. Shuffling around like a man in his 90's.
Prop is going into delts & glutes only, while the pain is there, its tolerable and I am functional.

I totally agree with this.
You don't need to be in front of a mirror when shooting quads.
I think there's definitely a "sweet spot"
as far as a less painful shot goes.

I dont respond well to quad injects either. glutes are easiest for me.

i cant even stick my quad doesnt feel right unless some else does it
Quads are the most problem prone area when doing shots for some unexplained reason, I think anyone who has been doing this for any length of time can tell you of at least a 1/2 dozen bad quad shots, myself included, and I couldn't tell you why either. If it bothers you that bad avoid them, do delt and glute shots.

never had a problem (nothing but some normal soreness that is) with quads.
BUT testodude, prop in calves?? you were just begging for it. you mean you used sust and eq in calves and they hurt so you thought "hey, lets give prop a try"?

i never had a problem with quads. I like quads and delts cause they are easy to reach yourself. I have problems reach around to my glutes. its not the injection its the drawing when doing a glute shot i can never get the right angle

One of my friends freezes his needles before he uses them,I thought it would be worst doing that. But he is a crazy fucker, never tryed it myself. The warming up to body temp. makes more sense to me.

I agree 100%. My first few inj. in the quads I couldn't walk for days, then through experimentation I found the exact area that doesn't hurt at all. For me it's in the middle of the quad area, looking straight down at the top of the quad then a 45 degree angle to the outside, but that's me.

samcam you nailed the spot i was trying to explain. Everyone complains about the prop pain and I don't understand why at all. If it is human grade it has all the same levels of alcohol and properties of test, it is just a different ester. I've never had anymore pain with prop than any other form of test. I really just don't understand why anyone would fool with prop with the frequency of injections. stick to enanthate or cyp and jab yourself once a week rather than everyother day.

Im on the 5th week of my first cycle so take this with a grain of salt, but Im with Rockready in that I love quad shots. I find that although glutes are the least painful, they are very hard to get to, and quads are the second least painful, I think. Anyway, Im running 500mgs/wk of Test Cyp and my first shot didnt hurt at first but the pain got progessively worse for two days and I couldnt walk for four days. After the second shot the pain only lasted about two days, after those two shots I havent had that problem since. I've also found that the shots tend to bleed less and less with each shot, my 5th didnt bleed at all after I took the needle out, and yes I did (aspirate?). Sorry for the long post but I got so excited because someone had a question on something I knew about.
Thanx

when I had bad shots, it was because I hit a nerve ro flexed with the pin in. Also when seated, the inject site does not look the same, so I would stand, flex, mark my spot w an alcohol pen, sit, swipe below the mark, extend my leg fully (to get a loose muscle) then slowly straight in, aspirate, push, and straight out. And as loong as I never hit the nerve or flexed,(or changed the pin angle while it was buried) zero soreness...

Almost correct, my Glute hurt so bad from last prop injection i wanna try a new spot. One calf with 1ml prop and other calf with 2ml sus/eq.
Now after 3 days the pain are getting better...

You said it yourself, the ester is why there's more pain with Prop then the others. The Propionate ester is chemically similar to bee venom from what I remember, thus the added pain. The pain isn't from the alcohol at all, its from the ester used to make it Prop. As to why use Prop, different results mostly, you get drier more solid looking gains because there's less water retention with Prop. There's less build up because the Prop enters and exits the body very quickly, without the build up you get less water retention, less side effects, different characteristics mainly.

I was doing Quad shots my whole cycle and didn't have any problems until the last week. I didn everything the same way I always did and my leg swelled up BAD. It was almost immobile for almost 2 wks. The muscle got real tight, almost rock hard. I went to the doctor and he drained some fluid off of the knee, which helped take some pressure off. I had to start taking anti-biotics for the fear of the swelling and redness, but I don't think that was what was causing the inflammation.
It was really strange now that I think about it. I was really careful in making sure everything was done correct. The only thing I can think of was possible shot between muscles or the gear was close to a nerve and it just took time for it to be absorbed.
FUCKING PAINFUL, so bad that I don't know if I will do a quad shot again for fear of being laid up for days.

The quads hurt but the calves are brutal. I only injected igf in them and it still sucked.
I love shooting quads...wish I could shoot them everytime. Glutes are good too, but they tend to be more sore than quads. Plus it's hard to turn my body to pin my ass.
