So I am new to this forum and for the most part anabolic supplements as well. I'd like to say thank you in advance for the help I am sure you all are going to provide me with by responding to this thread. Here is my situation, I had shoulder surgery Dec. 1. My Labrum was torn and had to be stitched and anchored down to the bone. I also had to have minor repair of my rotator cuff. I have not been able to do very much at all for the past two months and have just started the strengthening phase of my rehab. What I want to do is cycle HGH to help heal and repair the surgery, lose some body fat that I have gained during my down time, and rebuild the mass that I lost, as well as gain additional strength for baseball. I am a pitcher and am not looking for bulk. Muscle and tendon/ligament strength is what I am after. Some additional size is fine as long as I keep the muscles flexible and stretched. What I am looking for help on is the cycle itself.
First, for those kind of results what is a suggested dosing? How much and how often?
Second, where should I inject? and pre or post workout.
Third, what else should I be taking with the HGH for best results and why?
Fourth, any general info that I should know before during or after about taking a cycle of HGH is much appreciated.
Again, thanks up front to everyone for helping me out
I'd do 3-4 iu ED. I would also do your inject close to bed as to not interfere with the largest natty pulse. I'm not sure if injecting IM into injured area would matter, but if you instead do IGF then I would do that pwo into closest muscle to injured area. Or if you have a qualified doctor see if he'll do IA shots. As far as other supps, deca and var would be your best bet. Also look into Adaquan.

Thats about how much I was thinking, probably start @ 3iu p/day. I also haven't heard if spot injecting it helps. Assuming not, where should I inject and how? Sorry, I am obviously new to this and have a lot of questions you have all probably answered before. I also cannot find anything on "var", what is it or what is the full name. I have seen alot of people recomending test and t3 to go along with HGH. Is that a good idea good idea for my purpose or no? also what form of test, I'm a little confused by all the different names on bottles.

L-Glutamine works wonders for repairing injuries, ironically mainly by increasing natural GH output. If your a tested athlete taking the Deca and Test is a bad idea you risk a failed drug test, Deca specifically can be detected for up to a year and a half after stopping it. I had the same shoulder work you did and 2 months out is way too soon to be pushing heavy weight so be very careful or you'll be going under the knife again. It was a full 6 months before I could do any pressing at all safely let alone throw a baseball.

Yeah, I'm definitely not starting a throwing program or heavy lifting program yet. I am basically trying to drop the body fat I gained in the first two months post op, and get my core strength back up. I have been doing a lot of leg and back work, and my Dr. has given me the ok to work triceps and, with limitation, my chest. That is why I am not taking a major anabolic cycle. I am hoping the HGH will help with the body fat, and to some degree the repair and regrowth in my shoulder. The small dose of test to supplement that process and give me a little bit lean muscle on the rest of my body.

My PT has me doing resistance bands and low weight exercises on my shoulder. The big concern is pulling the labrum off the bone where they anchored it, so I can't do bicep stuff. I lost a lot of muscle mass too, but there isn't much I can do about it for a while
Damn you guys must be all chemically trained muscle, LOL, if your losing a lot of muscle mass this quick. I lost about 5lbs of muscle in 6 full months, yes I put on some fat but if I had hit the treadmill when they cleared me to I wouldn't have even done that. HIT really does work for long term permanent muscle gains I guess, I've been working out that way since Mentzer showed it to us in the early 80's and I lose very little when I have to stop lifting for long periods of time.

TJ how much L-Glutamine?
30 grams a day divided in 5 gram doses. Just mix a teaspoon (5 grams) with juice or water every few hours to pack it in.

Actually this will be my first cycle since college, and even then I just did a couple short runs on sus 250. Not sure what the deal is with losing the mass like I have. I guess my body just went into shock after surgery. I'm usually really active and I didn't do ANYTHING for 2 months.

That and I'll bet your eating a lot less than you were post surgery.

I am a pitcher as well....I have an interest in GH..I use anabolics... I stick with test, eq, deca, tren, d-bol....Var is Anavar which is a mild oral anabolic which helps with phosphocreatine synthesis, lowering bodyfat, barely no side effects, and no water retention. I don't have the cash right now to do GH, but if I did i'd at least run 2IU per day. I knew that you'd get alot of bodybuilder like GH doses bc this is a bodybuilder board. Sure you can take 4IU per day, but you don't need that much. The dose also is based upon your age. Plus if your rehabing a shoulder injury, U'd only need to take it for a month or two to "get back in the swing of things". If you are a 20 something ballplayer, then I'd forget it, and just use test/anavar....If you are a 30 or 40 something, then GH is a must...Kestrel...PM me if you like...I just got done throwing 200 tosses out in the backyard..hehe

To tell you the truth..you could use 1iu-2IU two days on and four days off as a starting pitcher...or 1IU-2IU three days on/three days off as a relief pitcher. Take the shot right after your pitching and the morning after AND THAT"S it! No need for that many IU's every single day! That's the bodybuilder way of using GH. What a baseball player can get by with in a month is what a bodybuilder uses in one day! Kestrel...please PM me.

I'm a catcher and I body build....just off shoulder surgery...a few items to be sure you have on your rehab list (my pt says that I am way ahead of schedule...done 1/29 and am doing moderate weight in the gym already): gh, igf and dmso.

It's nice to see some ball players out here! I've been trying to throw no matter what 2-3 times per week. Using the "Overload & Underload Principle". Last year I was using weighted balls during the season, and it messed up my control. Right now so I'm using 6oz,7oz,8oz,9oz,10oz,11oz,12oz,16oz, and 20oz during the offseason. Threw 200 throws using the weighted balls, and I am not sore whatsoever! A few weeks prior to our first game, I will switch back to regulation 5oz balls, and use 4 oz balls to increase the faster motion oif the delivery. But he 4oz will not mess up my control. Been using bands alot and Jobe exercises. If I grew up in the Dominican Repub, I would def be in MLB because I would throw year round!

Problem I've got is I can't pitch, or even throw for that matter until august. My PT also says I'm way ahead of schedule. Problem is, surgeon said that because of having to anchor the labrum to my humerus, it has to first grow roots into the bone, then the bone density around the anchor spot has to come back up. In comes the HGH.....I hope

Look into super cissus also. It is a supplement that will help in the rebuilding of tendons and ligaments. You can search it on here or google it. There is alot of info on it.

Never heard of it I'll look into it. I'm just over a week into this GH cycle and I'm feeling good. Only thing is, its hard to tell if it is because of the Peptide or because I'm working my ass of at the gym (lots of core, cardio, and legs with some upper body I can do bypassing my shoulder). I will say that I have a lot more drive at the gym although that may be a mental thing too. I have had a fair amount of aching joints, and every once in a while I get the pins and needles feeling in my leg or an arm. No water retention whatsoever though. Other than those side affects, that I HAVE been looking for, I haven't noticed anything else. Hoping that this stuff is working on my shoulder as well as the rest of my body. Anyone give me an Idea of when I should start to see noticeable affects? 3iu/day-195lbs
In about 6-7 weeks, I'll be adding 400-500mg test p/week as well. I won't be released by my surgeon to truly lift until then, so I didn't figure it was worth adding until then. At that point I will be on GH for roughly 2 full months, should I see noticeable affects before then?

i dont know about seeing noticeable results , but i personally feel that gh helped me . About a year and a half ago i tore my right bicep off at the elbow...it rolled up to my shoulder. I went in for surgery to have it reattached and then u have to wear a cast from fingers to shoulder for 3 months, then physio rehab for three months....I had been on gh for just over two months when i injured myself , among other things, and i bumped up to 5 iu a day after surgery . Went in monthly for cast change and the sports surgeon was amazed on my recovery and lack of atrophy. I definetly lost some size in my right arm but not as drastic as expected. Anyways , went in for my two month check up / cast change and when the doc checked everything he decided to leave the cast off and put me in a sling...he was totally impressed with my recovery and mobility , i went to light lifting after 3 days of pysio and never looked back. My right bicep feels just as good as before the tear and my strength is greater. By the way im not young by anymeans , im 34 , so a complete recovery is not something i expected, other then the huge scar on the inside of my arm , u would never know it happened.
