Well I decided to take it to the next level and start doing slin. My problem is that I don't get to start my workouts until 8pm and usually don't get done until 10pm. If I do Humalog right at 10pm, that would mean that I would have to stay up until 3am just to be safe. That's just way to late to have to stay up. I thought Humalog is suppose to be out of your system in like 2-3 hours or is that just peak time. What's the latest you guys would stay up just to make sure? I figure if I eat the right amount of carbs that I should be good to go.

Answered this partially in your other thread...ok. I have a similar workout routine...two things, first I normally dont fall asleep for 3 hours after that anyway...so sleep thing for me is not an issue. Second, I have run slin many many many times, so I have a good idea how I am going to react to it. Now, you of course are going to be different. What I would suggest is start at a low dose and of course see how you react. Stay up for those 4 hours initially while you are learning how you react. I think once you see how you handle it you can judge better how to time it and when you can sleep safely. Make sure that you understand carbs are not the only thing...drink your carbs, then wpi about 15 minutes later....then you will get another peak in an hour or so, so eat lean protein and a complex carb...then I normally do another shake or lean protein an hour after that. Protein will raise your blood sugar as well, keep that in mind. Sugars will but they clear out fast, thats why I like the complex carb at the one hour mark. Just be careful...
