it was hurting my ass for a week so I cut it about 50/50.

just did a shot and it feels much better than before I cut it.

2. How and why did you decide to use Canola oil? (just interested why you'd choose that over cottonseed, grapeseed or any other oil.)

3. For anyone thinking of making their own: If you're using grocery-store bought oil and then filter it before adding to your gear, always use a fresh new bottle. Not one that's been sitting in the cupboard opened for the last 2 months :)

nope just straight from the bottle in. I got off the phone with a pal and he said I should be fine cuz he used to do it all the time with his test 400 that made his ass hurt for a week. he didnt filter it either, just standard swabbing of the inject site.

The most important thing is that you filter it before hand. It's not sterile from the stores. That said...I know people who shoot water IV from the faucet with their rec drugs and nothing has happened to them...

A whatman syringe filter. .22 or .45micron

Those of us who make our own gear or add oil to gear filter it first to remove bacteria.

The filters screw onto the syringe and it passes through that before coming out of the needle into the sterile sealed vial.

The people who told you to cut your shots should have made that clear.
Its not too late to filter it.

Probably not, but that's not saying much.

The filter goes on the end like this...but in our case, we add a large gauge needle onto the end (19g for example) and stick it in the vial with another smaller needle in the top of the vial to allow the air inside to vent as you push the filtered oil into the vial.

Yeah you'll be fine mate. Like your mate said, chances are you'd fine for the whole cycle.

But then you only have to read the couple of threads here where guys have had flesh eating bacterial infections, the one who lost a leg etc....why risk it? lol (that was water based gear though which is known for bacterial blooms)

Seriously the filters are like 5 bucks each and each one can do about 80ml of gear.

Buy a 10ml syringe (couple of $) so you can suck up the whole vial into it.

Discard that needle, then screw on the filter, then use a new large gauge needle (use a large one or it will take forever) and insert a new pin (size you'd shoot with is fine) into the top of the vial off centre so the air will vent as you refill the vial.

Keep an eye on the filter if it does not have a screw lock on the tip...the filters can shoot off under pressure and you'll lose gear.

It sounds more complicated than it is. T
takes about 10mins (swab the top of the vial and have your hands washed before doing all this obviously :)

What the fuck makes you think you can just mix it with vegetable oil from the grocery store unfiltered and not risk serious infection? You my friend are not ready for steroids and have a lot more research to do, as well as mature a lot before picking up your next needle.

Ya I don't really like the idea of cutting your own shit because half the guys that do it have no fucking clue what they're doing. I think 9x out of 10 you'll be fine. i was a close friend of a guy that operated a huge underground lab in new york before he was arrested during rawdeal-he used vegetable oil from the grocery store-i personally used his stuff for years-dozens of bottlles of test,deca and eq-never got an infection and very rarely experienced pain-he had hundreds of satisified customers-and yes,he used vegtable oil fom the grocey store

As for the original posters question, yes it could have been done in a more sterile situation but you should be just fine. Heres what I did once with some death cyp (as we called it way back in the day) that we got from China. I took a new bottle of olive oil (as described above) and let it sit for a few days making sure not to swish it or mix it around at all. I then used a needle to draw out 10cc's of oil, I put that oil into an empty vial and put it into the oven and baked it, with a pin in the top for a vent. I honestly cant remember how long or what temp I used but it was up around 250deg. for something like 30 minutes. Then I let it cool and mixed it with a vial of this deadly painful cyp, 1ml olive oil to 2ml cyp and it made the rest of it usable until it was gone. I WOULD have filtered it if I could have gotten some watman filters but it was not an option for me so I backed it to kill anything that might cause an infection, worked great!
